So, you want a cool looking remote, that has all the bells and whistles? 

You might have seen various 'programmable' remotes with touch screen.  But those puppies are bulky, wide, not easy to handle and expensive!

Phillips has unveiled their new Pronto SRU9600. 

This awesome remote has an LCD touch screen and can control upto 8 devices.

Of course, it will display buttons that pretain to the particular device only.

In order to program the devices, forget about entering crappy three-digit codes! 

The Pronto SRU9600 displays easy to follow, step-by-step instructions.  By following these instructions, you can progam almost any device.  It can also 'learn' from other remotes.

Personally, although I love the black-silver scheme, I am kinda worried about fingerprints.  Well, considering the fact that I like eating popcorn while watching movies!

Where can you buy it?

Not yet (as of this posting) ... It will be available in Spring 2006 and estimated cost is around $150.00.
