Here is yet another cool concept car from Volkswagen...The EcoRacer is supposed to give you 100 miles per gallon and yet travel at speeds of 143 miles per hour!

It weighs a measly 1800 pounds and is powered by a turbo-diesel engine.

The EcoRacer can be converted into a roadster by removing the ultra-light roof panels.  Further, you can convert it into a speedster by removing the windshield and panels next to it!
